You don’t have to live in the Wild, Wild West to be able to find “gold in them thar hills” all you need is some team spirit and a little ingenuity. Your group will be divided into teams who will compete to earn “gold nuggets” that can be used to buy supplies to build a covered wagon that will be used in the Gold Rush Wagon race.
We’ll round-up your team spirit with our fun interactive Gold Rush activities that are designed for city slickers of all skill levels. Teams will rotate through Cow Pie Toss, Buffalo Stampede and a specially designed Corral building Challenge. Teams will earn gold so they can spend their loot in the store.
Once the challenges have been completed, construction begins on the covered wagons that are used in the final Wagon Stampede.
The teams will paint a story on their wagons to tell how the WEST WAS WON. The story will outline the Past and the vision for the future “Success or Bust”. Only signs and symbols may be used to tell the story. The story will be followed with the teams’ own western ballad.
You’ll think it’s 1876 again as the wagons take off for the exchange station where they’ll change drivers and horses then slalom back through a field of wooden cacti. So, grab your hat and hang on ‘cuz your team is in for a wild ride in this Gold Rush Wagon Race.
